Group Trips to The Farm

Budding farmers from all over the country are invited to Family Farm and school and activity groups are most welcome. Our experienced farm guides will show your group around the farm, fill you in on all there is to know about the different animals, crops and what it's really like to be a farmer. You will also learn how to milk a cow, grow vegetables and become part of a unique learning experience in the farm classroom!

Discover Primary Science programmes

Family Farm classroom is now recognised as a Discover Primary Science (DPS) learning space. The farm programs for primary school children are accredited DPS programmes where children can try their hand at butter making from scratch or lend a hand in the farm garden. The children will learn where their food comes from in an active way and the important role that Irish farmers play in modern Ireland.
