Agri Aware coming to your sitting room!
Agri Aware is delivering a year-long CAP communication campaign, across Ireland-North and South, to engage urban and rural consumers in the importance of CAP, in delivering a secure supply of quality, safe and traceable food at an affordable price for the consumer, whilst caring for the environment.
As part of this campaign, Agri Aware is delivering an engaging a national television advertising campaign. The aim of this telestration advertisement is to communicate the Common Agricultural Policy (CAP) to the general public in a novel and unique way.
The telestration uses characters such as a student, a mother, a tourist and a farmer, to tell the story of how the CAP benefits everyone. This innovative approach is part of a year-long communication campaign entitled ‘Be Agri Aware – Put your thinking CAP on’.

The aim of this campaign is to engage the general public in CAP so that they understand where their food comes from, how it is produced under the highest standards and the important role that farmers play in caring for their animals, the environment, biodiversity and waterways.
